Home Entertainment Space in Ladue

After downsizing to a home in Ladue, this couple was looking for a solution to make their new home practical for their family. With an established relationship already in place with Liston Design Build for more than 15 years, the homeowners knew exactly who to turn to for help in redesigning their home to best fit their lifestyle. The problem? A huge great room that looked pretty but really wasn’t going to be usable space. The homeowners decided to add a bar and make the spot a central hub for entertaining. Placing the bar opposite the existing fireplace gives a focal point on both ends of the room. Opening to the back patio, an exterior door was converted to a pass-through NanaWall window so entertaining both indoors and outdoors is a breeze. The new indoor/outdoor entertainment space has a warm, French Country feel. There was existing iron railing at the top of the great room so the iron used in the bar area was designed to mimic the railing and tie the space together.
