Moving to the St. Louis area from California, our clients saw an opportunity to recreate the finishes that they grew to love in their California home.  Part of a whole house remodel, the kitchen area was opened up to the family room by removing a wall and recreating the post and beam design in other areas of the house.  Adding new maple flooring in the great room and natural slate in the kitchen, the owners were able to define the space while also opening it up.  Using maple cabinetry by Kemper, Absolute Black granite countertops, a sleek, glass backsplash, and stainless steel appliances and range hood,  the owners were ready to call their new place, “Home”.
